Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Phlebotomist

to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in

laboratory procedures

Responsibilities



Collect blood samples from patients using

venipuncture

and other

blood sampling

techniques with precision and care Prepare and process specimens according to laboratory protocols, ensuring specimen integrity and proper labeling Perform routine

vital signs

measurements and document findings accurately Maintain strict adherence to

aseptic technique

to prevent contamination or infection Assist in patient preparation by explaining procedures, providing comfort, and ensuring patient understanding Follow all safety guidelines related to

hospital experience

,

clinical laboratory procedures

, and

physiology knowledge

Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper disposal of biohazard materials Document all procedures accurately in accordance with hospital or laboratory policies Support other laboratory staff with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements



Proven experience in

phlebotomy

,

clinical laboratory experience

, or related healthcare roles Strong knowledge of

laboratory techniques

,

medical terminology

, and

anatomy knowledge

Demonstrated ability in

venipuncture

,

blood sampling

, and specimen handling Knowledge of

patient service

principles, including effective communication and compassionate care Familiarity with hospital or clinical laboratory procedures, including

vital signs

measurement and

specimen processing

Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments while adhering to safety standards Certification or training in phlebotomy is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates with relevant experience
This position is integral to delivering high-quality patient care through accurate specimen collection and laboratory support. We seek motivated individuals committed to excellence in healthcare services.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.5 per week
