Job Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Phlebotomist for its Marshalltown office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.



Responsibilities include: Collects blood samples by venipuncture, heel or finger stick. Obtains urine and other specimens from patients. Prepares specimens for in-house testing or for send-out to reference labs. Performs receptionist and other clerical duties as needed.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or HiSET

Certification/License

NHA or ASCP certification in phlebotomy preferred

Days:

Monday - Friday.

Hours:

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

1 year phlebotomy experience in a fast paced clinical outpatient laboratory environment - preferred

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
