StarCare Phlebotomy Services is seeking an experienced and reliable Phlebotomist to provide services at a local doctor's office. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, ideal for someone looking to supplement their income with steady, part-time work in a professional clinical setting.

In addition to in-office work, the phlebotomist may occasionally be required to handle mobile blood draws in the surrounding area, providing flexibility and variety in the role.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipunctures and specimen collection accurately and efficiently Prepare and label specimens for laboratory processing Maintain a clean and organized work area Provide excellent patient care and customer service Follow proper infection control and safety procedures Perform mobile blood draws as needed in the local area
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience Reliable transportation required Must be dependable, professional, and punctual Active phlebotomy certification preferred Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
