Position Highlights

Department: Laboratory Hours: Full-Time/40 hours (This is a benefits-eligible position.) Shift: Days

Position Summary:


The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting and processing specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKGs, order entry, and specimen processing.


Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma, or equivalent Phlebotomy certificate or 1 year experience is preferred Basic computer skills Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups 2 years' experience with adult education and instructional design
