Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong focus on patient service and care, as well as proficiency in various pharmacy practices.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring patient needs are met. Maintain medication inventory, including ordering, restocking, and managing expired medications. Perform medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Document patient intake information accurately, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support critical care and acute care services. Uphold safety protocols and maintain cleanliness within the pharmacy environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is a must. Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes is essential. Experience in primeRX and micro-merchant software is a must. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care are necessary for success in this position.
