Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by preparing and dispensing medications, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Manage medication intake processes, including verifying prescriptions and patient information Maintain meticulous records of medication inventory, expiration dates, and documentation for regulatory compliance Provide patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting medication administration processes Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through accurate medication management

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with familiarity in retail settings. Critical care experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle complex medication protocols Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Certification or licensure as required by state regulations for pharmacy technicians Experience with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is desirable
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
