We are looking to fill a Full Time Pharmacy Technician position, Monday - Friday variable schedule between 7:00am-7:00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following:

Compound intravenous solutions, TPN, antibiotics, hydration and other IV medications. Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy clean room and it's equipment as described in company policy and procedure manual. Maintain appropriate stock levels of large volume IV solutions, electrolytes, and supplies in the pharmacy clean room. Assist in receiving and stocking incoming medications and supplies. Process TPN and prescription labels. Maintain lab logs (daily and monthly cleaning of lab, lab QA/QC logs, temperature logs). Assist with warehouse and pharmacy office duties as needed. Assists Pharmacist, as needed, in preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, and other duties. Other duties may be assigned at anytime via verbal or written instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

IV experience preferred, but not required.

Sterile compounding experience is preferred, but not required.

LICENSES

Current Pharmacy Technician License.
