Pharmacy Technician

What you'll do

Assist pharmacists in preparing medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Provide outstanding patient service Manage medication intake processes Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology to maintain accurate records and documentation for patient safety. Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and organization within the pharmacy. Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in retail or long-term care settings is essential. Familiarity with LTC pharmacy operations is highly desirable. Experience in critical care or hospital environments will set you apart from other candidates. Strong understanding of medical terminology and acute care practices is necessary for success in this role. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers. A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to safety protocols is essential.
