Job Summary

We are an independent pharmacy in White Plains, NY looking to add an experienced pharmacy technician to our team! We are looking for a dependable, motivated, team-player who is looking for a careerwithinthe field of pharmacy.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assisting the Pharmacist at all times to ensure that each customer has a positive shopping experience Assisting the pharmacist with receiving, typing, counting and dispensing medications to the customers Assisting each customer with over the counter medications and surgical supplies/other needs in pharmacy Greet, acknowledge and provide prompt service to each customers Follow state pharmacy law and HIPAA privacy laws while handling prescriptions Resolve insurance issues Follow proper medication storage requirements File prescriptions (CII, CIII-V, CVI) at end of the day Retrieve and file pharmacy prescriptions in the appropriate files and assist Pharmacist with checking in and pricing drug orders Maintain inventory levels, pull outdated/recalled merchandise Count cash register at end of the day Restock front end items every day Assist customers with ordering special request products Assist in inventory management process including: order review, inventory returns and physical inventory preparation Assist in the correction of managed care denied claims and troubleshoot problems inthird partybilling claims Delivering prescriptions to patients while providing superior customer service and a professional demeanor Maintaining accurate documentation and logging of deliveries and the monetary transactions that occur Safely operating a motor vehicle to deliver prescriptions

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum age of 18 Proficient inenglish, multi-lingual a plus Ability to pass drug test A reliable mode of transportation A valid New York State Drivers License with a clean driving record Ability to provide excellent customer service Flexibility in hours (weekdays/weekends/days/evenings/mornings) Accuracy and attention to detail Reliability and Timeliness
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
