Order Entry Pharmacy Technician

TrueMed is seeking a motivated, team oriented, full time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join their winning team in Hiawatha, IA. The Order Entry Technician is responsible for entering prescriptions and refills into the pharmacy system with both speed and accuracy. Technicians must be responsive and courteous when addressing our customers' needs. Successful Technicians are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of our customers; understanding customer information and using it to improve products and services we deliver; talking and acting with customers in mind; and establishing and maintaining effective relationship with co-workers and customers.

Able to verify patient information on prescription is complete and accurate

Enters prescription, physician, patient, and insurance information into pharmacy software system

Establish and maintain patient files

Prepare and file insurance claims

Accurate data entry skills

This position should have excellent customer service skills, verbal and written skills should be detailed oriented and conformable working with pharmacy and retail software. Applications must be willing to become certified within 1 year of hire per state law. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule..
