i. Minimum lifting requirements of 35 pounds in order to accept equipment deliveries, and pack and unpack office supplies, etc.
ii. Frequent client and interoffice personnel interaction as this position meets and greets patients and is heavily dependent on excellent customer interaction
iii. Hearing - Must be able to hear telephonic equipment and comfortably communicate with patients and others by telephone and in person
iv. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) as required for business software, and operating office machines
v. Stand at least 6 hours or more per day
vi. Be able to reach items off of shelves over 60" and higher
vii. Count and/or pour medications
viii. Prepackage (e.g. unit dose) and properly label medications (technician)
ix. Affix the prescription label to the proper container (technician)
x. Affix auxiliary labels to the container as directed by the pharmacist (technician)
xi. Reconstitution of medications (i.e. liquid antibiotics) (technician)
xii. Bulk compounding, including such items as non-sterile topical compounds, sterile bulk solutions for small volume injectables, sterile irrigation solutions and products prepared in relatively large volume for internal or external use (technician)
a. Documentation of a system of in-process and final checks and controls must be developed or approved by the certifying pharmacist in a careful and systematic manner.
xiii. Assist the pharmacist in the annual Controlled Drug Substance inventory.
b. The pharmacist remains responsible for completeness and accuracy.
xiv. Other duties include the scope of auxiliary staff to maintain smooth operation of the pharmacy

vii. Must demonstrate good reading comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
viii. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills - Talking to others to convey information effectively
ix. Being punctual to work shifts, activities, training, meetings, and any work-related events
x. Willingness to be open to constructive criticism and personal growth/improvement feedback

Experience and Education:
i. Current Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy Technician Permit
ii. High School Diploma
iii. Accurate typing at 40 words per minute
iv. Compounding experience preferred but not necessary
v. Technician experience required
