Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions, while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and medication orders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient service and care. Understand and utilize medical terminology effectively in daily tasks. Monitor medication storage conditions and ensure compliance with regulations. Participate in critical care initiatives as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of pharmacy operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with retail pharmacy environments is an advantage. Knowledge of acute care procedures and protocols is beneficial. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient service are essential for success in this role.
