Objectives of This Role

Support pharmacists in the safe and efficient dispensing of medications. Enhance patient adherence and understanding by providing clear education under pharmacist supervision. Administer immunizations and assist in monitoring patient vitals when required. Maintain accurate electronic records of prescriptions, vaccines, and patient data. Ensure full compliance with local, federal, and Department of Health regulations. Contribute to a welcoming and organized pharmacy environment that prioritizes patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Process, fill, and label prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision. Administer vaccines (flu, TDAP, etc.) following certified immunization protocols. Record immunizations and monitor patients for post-vaccination reactions. Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or insurance details. Assist in inventory management, including controlled substances, and ensure records are up to date. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace in accordance with HIPAA, DEA, and FDA standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications (Must Haves)

Active Pharmacy Technician License

in Puerto Rico.

Current immunization certification and authorization

to administer vaccines. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Professional, patient-focused communication skills in

Spanish and English
