Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Administer medications as directed, adhering to established protocols for safety and efficacy. Utilize aseptic technique during IV infusion preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes. Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking medication supplies. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Proficiency in acute care practices, including critical care environments. Familiarity with IV infusion techniques and aseptic procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
