Join Our Team: Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program at St. Luke's Health System

Notice: This application process will be open from 10/27/2025 to 11/14/2025. We are hiring for the December, January, February and March 2025-2026 classes.

At the conclusion of the application process you will be asked to attend a presentation detailing the class and expectations while in the class. In order to be considered for an interview you must attend said presentation.

Apprenticeship Program. This is your opportunity to learn, grow, and develop in a hands-on, supportive environment--all while getting paid!

Classes start every four weeks!

Program Details

Full-time, paid position

--Get paid while you learn!

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

10-week intensive training program

designed to set you up for success

Hands-on experience

in classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments

Opportunity to become PTCB certified

--St. Luke's covers the cost of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam!

Guaranteed promotion

to a Pharmacy Technician role within St. Luke's Pharmacy Services upon successful completion

What You'll Do

Learn on the job

as you participate in all classroom, lab, and experiential training.

Prepare and process medications

--You'll assist in compounding and preparing medication orders under the guidance of pharmacists and experienced technicians.

Manage automated dispensing devices

and medical dispensing technology.

Order and receive medications

--Be an essential part of the supply chain for pharmacy operations.

Utilize pharmacy technology

to support safe and efficient processes.

Maintain high standards

in cleaning, logging, recalls, and monitoring medications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
