General Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, primarily performing hazardous drug sterile compounding. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the drug/supply inventories and maintaining regulatory documentation/patient records. You will work only under the supervision of a hospital registered Pharmacist.

Minimum Education & Experience Required: * High school diploma, certificate, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Current registration with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified, or obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire. PTCB for pharmacy students can be waived for those who have an active Pharmacist Intern License.
Shift: Full-Time, Rotating Schedule; Hours may be irregular and include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.
