Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor, or the Director of Pharmacy, performs a wide variety of technical, clinical, and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit-dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program. Responsible for maintaining confidential reports; entering and retrieving data utilizing the pharmacy information system; preparing intravenous medications including chemotherapeutic preparations, hyperalimentations, and antibiotics; refilling automated dispensing cabinets with unit dose medications; procuring and filling requests for pharmaceutical supplies; delivering medications and supplies to nursing units; and assisting pharmacists with clinical activities to foster professional development.

+ 8.1 Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, participates in clinical activities, interprets original doctor's orders, and fills prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients utilizing the pharmacy information system.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
High School Diploma required Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy
EXPERIENCE
Experience volunteering/working in a hospital pharmacy is a plus
LICENSURE
Eligible for technician license or limited pharmacist (intern) license
