How you'll contribute

A Pharmacy Intern who excels in this role:

Learns how to interpret and evaluate all physician medication, IV admixture and TPN orders Learns the appropriate process used in dispensing controlled substances as required by local, state, and federal laws and the standards as it pertains to the standards of good pharmacy practice Learns how to appropriately compound and dispense medications from the pharmacy Gains experience in clinical activities performed by the department under the supervision of the clinical manager Becomes familiar with automated systems used in the pharmacy

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a New Mexico pharmacy intern license or be enrolled as a technician in training. Additional requirements include:

Education: enrolled as a student in an accredited college of pharmacy
