Job Summary

WyPaw is seeking compassionate and responsible Pet Sitters to provide exceptional care for dogs and cats. This role involves ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of pets while their owners are away. Ideal candidates will have a genuine love for animals, strong handling skills, and the ability to manage various pet care duties with professionalism and kindness. Responsibilities

Provide daily pet care including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining hydration Engage pets with playtime, walks, and companionship to promote mental and physical health Monitor pet behavior and health; report any concerns or unusual symptoms to clients or supervisors Perform animal restraint safely during grooming or veterinary procedures if necessary Maintain cleanliness of pet areas, including kennels, cages, and outdoor spaces Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners or veterinary professionals Handle multiple pets efficiently while ensuring safety for both animals and yourself Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, or trimming if required Manage pet sitting appointments responsibly, ensuring punctuality and reliability

Experience

Prior experience in pet sitting or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Veterinary technician or assistant experience is advantageous Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and kennel management is desirable Experience working with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and equines is beneficial Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or equipment handling
This role requires a dedicated individual who is attentive to animal needs, capable of handling various situations with patience and professionalism. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while providing top-quality pet care.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $9,000.00 per month
