Pet Retail Specialist - Join Our Team at The Fish & Bone!

Are you an animal lover who's driven to provide the best life you can for your pets? We're looking for a new member of our sales team to serve pet parents like you by connecting them with the best quality products in our award-winning independent pet supply in Portland.

What We're Looking For

:

Somone outgoing, personable, and genuinely excited to connect with customers and help them find the perfect products. Skilled at connecting with customers, actively listening to their needs Ability to problem solve for customers utilizing our top quality pet products Strong understanding of sales, add-ons, and upselling. Driven to meet sales goals and metrics. Committed to continuous learning about products to enhance sales effectiveness. Personal experience with pets (especially dogs and cats) is strongly preferred. At least 2 years of sales experience. Enthusiasm for learning and applying new product knowledge to sales discussions Strong sense of responsibility, maturity, and teamwork. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus:

If you have social media experience or an eye for content creation, that's a plus.

Physical & Location Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, climb ladders up to 6 feet, and stand for extended periods. Work takes place at our India Street location, both indoors and occasionally outdoors Team members may occasionally be featured on our website and social media.
