Smithereen is looking for Pest Management Service Technicians to join the team. This position will allow you to work independently and give your customers the peace of mind they deserve. Experience is preferred, however we will train. Qualified candidates must be organized and detail oriented, have good verbal communication and computer skills, and be able to provide excellent customer service at all management levels. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective pest control strategies. You will work closely with residential and commercial customers to eliminate pests and provide recommendations for preventing future infestations.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Inspecting and treating for pests and any conditions that could lead to pest activity
Be comfortable working with insect and rodent pests in a variety of conditions and confined spaces
Develop and implement effective pest control strategies and treatment plans
Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines
Provide recommendations to clients on preventing future pest infestations
Building and maintaining good customer relations
Participating in continued company training and meetings
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
Being an interactive member of the Smithereen team
Possess a valid driving license with a record that meets company standards
Have a high school diploma or GED
Must be 21 years of age
Must be able to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
Show a stable work history
Pass a pre-employment drug screen, job physical, and criminal background check
