Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing effective pest management solutions to our clients, ensuring their environments are safe and pest-free. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pest control, lawn care, or related fields, and will be comfortable using various hand tools and machinery. A commitment to customer service and sales is also crucial as you will be interacting with clients regularly.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues. Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on client needs. Apply appropriate pesticides and treatments using safe and effective methods. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and recommendations made. Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and the importance of ongoing maintenance. Operate and maintain equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery safely. Drive to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in pest control or a related field such as lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is preferred. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is advantageous. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate services and solutions to clients. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
