We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Personal Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
Engage clients in recreational activities and community outings to promote social interaction.
Document client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Experience
Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medication administration and patient monitoring is a plus.
Experience working in a group home or similar setting is advantageous.
Ability to perform light cooking and maintain cleanliness in the living space is essential.
A compassionate attitude towards care and a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities are crucial for success in this role.
