CoverPoint Insurance Solutions is hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor!

The Personal Lines Insurance Advisor will suggest insurance coverages and needs in a consultative sales process, selling, and renewing personal lines insurance business.

Prospect, develop, propose, and bind new business. (50%) Oversee renewal process of existing customers. (25%) Seek and foster relationships with customer-facing members of the WPCU organization. (15%) Maintain partnerships with insurance company representatives and underwriters. (5%) Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk are mitigated. (5%)






Required Skills

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required or ten (10) years equivalent work experience. Advanced degree and/or insurance industry designations or certifications are a plus. Ohio Agent Major Lines license required or the ability to obtain within 45 days of employment. At least 2 years' experience in a sales environment. Entrepreneurial spirit with the desire to network and prospect. * Prior insurance sales experience a plus.
