Position: High School Personal Finance Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Phoenixville, PA
Rate: $50/hour
About the Role
Focused Staffing Group is seeking a committed and engaging High School Personal Finance Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Phoenixville, PA. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about equipping students with essential financial literacy skills that prepare them for real-world decision-making and long-term success.
Schedule
Full-time position
Standard school-day schedule (specific hours set by the school)
Key Responsibilities
Teach Personal Finance courses to high school students
Develop effective lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with school curriculum and standards
Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations
Assess student progress and provide meaningful, timely feedback
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events
Build a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Finance, Economics, or related field
Valid secondary teaching certification (or eligibility), preferred
Prior experience teaching high school students, strongly preferred
Strong understanding of personal finance topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, credit, and financial planning
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
Deep commitment to helping students develop practical, lifelong financial skills
