We are expanding our caregiver team and seeking
compassionate, reliable Personal Caregivers
who are dedicated to supporting individuals with daily living needs while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.
As a Personal Caregiver within our
agency or registry
, you play a critical role in helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe in their homes.
POSITION: PERSONAL CAREGIVER
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract (W2 or 1099 depending on assignment)
(Final pay rate determined by experience, service level, and client care plan.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Personal Caregiver, your role includes but is not limited to:
Personal Care Support
Assist clients with
bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
Support clients with safe
transfers, mobility assistance, and positioning
Provide
incontinence care
and skin-care monitoring
Companionship & Emotional Support
Offer conversation, social engagement, reassurance, and companionship
Encourage participation in enjoyable activities or community outings
Support clients experiencing loneliness, anxiety, or cognitive decline
Meal Support & Household Tasks
Prepare simple meals aligned with dietary needs
Assist with feeding if required
Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying, organizing
Medication & Monitoring
Prompt and assist with medication administration (per state guidelines)
Document changes in physical, mental, or behavioral conditions
Maintain accurate notes and immediately report safety concerns
Community & Environmental Assistance
Escort clients to appointments or community activities
Support clients with errands or grocery assistance
Provide transportation if authorized (depending on service plan)
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years or older
Valid
Driver's License or State ID
Reliable transportation
(required for most cases)
High school diploma or equivalent
(preferred, not required)
Ability to pass:
PA
Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse Clearance
(if required by service plan)
FBI Fingerprinting
(if applicable)
Ability to lift
at least 25-50 lbs
safely
Strong communication, patience, and compassion
Must be dependable and willing to work independently
REQUIRED OR RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATIONS
(Not required for all positions but increases placement opportunities)
CPR/First Aid Certification
Direct Care Worker (DCW) Training - 6-hour & 2-hour
Personal Care Assistant Training
Medication Administration Training
(for certain clients under ODP)
OLTL Mandatory Training
ODP Required Training (24-credit modules + annual refreshers)
ODP/OLTL SERVICE CATEGORY PAY GUIDANCE
Depending on the type of service assigned, pay ranges vary:

WORK SCHEDULE OPTIONS
We offer
flexible scheduling
across 5 counties:
4-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour shifts
Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
Every weekend / rotating weekends / weekdays only
Assignments available
20-60 hours per week
