We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and possess a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to client. Monitor and document changes in the client's condition. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Medications reminder. Assist with mobility . Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies.

Skills

Experience in home settings or assisted living facilities is preferred. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status. Knowledge of home health practices including hospice care and long-term care experience. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Competence in cooking and meal preparation tailored to individual dietary requirements. Understanding of care plans, patient monitoring, and medication administration protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and families.
