Personal Care Assistant
Are you willing to serve with compassion, integrity and excellence? If so, this opportunity may be for you! We are looking to hire a personal care assistant immediately; part-time hours.
Duties:
- Encourage physical activity
- Light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support to client
- Incontinence care
- Meal prep
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years work history
- Successful completion of a nurse aide training and competency evaluation program or successful completion of a healthcare/personal care credentialing program.
- Current CPR certification obtained in-person (not online)
- Current negative TB test
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Someone who is trustworthy
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's home
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
