We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team in [Location]. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to seniors and disabled adults, enhancing their quality of life and ensuring they receive the care they need to thrive at home.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Monitor client health and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with medication reminders and administration as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers. Document client progress and communicate effectively with family members.

Qualifications

Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is required. Knowledge of senior care practices, including memory and dementia care, is a plus. Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients are essential. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or transferring clients safely. Reliable transportation for travel between client homes may be required.
