Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in an assisted living setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in promoting the dignity and independence of our residents while adhering to their rights and preferences.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Medication Reminders as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition. Assist with vital signs monitoring and report any significant changes to the nursing staff. Support residents in maintaining their daily routines and engaging in social activities. Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individual preferences at all times. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following proper hygiene and safety protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to each resident's needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or personal care aide roles is preferred, particularly in an assisted living facility or similar setting. Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Familiarity with medication Reminders protocols and understanding of resident rights. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect towards all residents. Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or assisting residents as needed.
