$20-$22/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Full-time - 40 hours/week, including some evenings and weekends (with overtime pay)

Position Overview:

A private household in the Carrollwood area is seeking a warm, dependable, and grounded

Personal Assistant/Driver

to support a high-functioning adult with unique needs. This role combines transportation, personal assistance, and household support, with a focus on consistency, companionship, and active daily living. The ideal candidate will bring maturity, patience, and a calm presence, and should have experience working in supportive or caregiving roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, timely transportation to community activities, appointments, errands, and volunteer commitments Assist with daily routines and accompany the individual to charitable events, fitness classes, and animal-related volunteer activities Support household organization, including calendar management, reminders, and vendor coordination Help with meal preparation, cleaning, and general upkeep Offer companionship and engagement in physical and recreational activities Maintain a structured, supportive environment while fostering independence and participation

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience

in a personal assistant, caregiver, or support role Comfortable working with neurodiverse individuals (experience supporting those with autism or special needs is a strong plus) Background in

teaching, counseling, life coaching, or caregiving

is highly valued

CPR certified

or willing to become certified Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record Strong knowledge of the Tampa/Carrollwood area Ability to maintain confidentiality, be discreet, and work with professionalism Tech-literate (calendars, maps, basic mobile tools)

Maturity and life experience that support empathy, calmness, and structure Naturally nurturing, grounded, and able to hold emotional space with confidence Physically active and able to engage in walking, fitness, and outings Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing household-related tasks

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (groceries, light supplies) Must be comfortable driving and physically assisting with light daily routines
