Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential support in a home care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care, be knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations, and possess skills in first aid and CPR. This role is vital for ensuring the well-being of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, particularly those with developmental disabilities.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Help with mobility assistance.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information.
- Engage clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and physical health.

Experience

- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
