Job Description

IMM is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented

Performance Media Analyst

who thrives at the intersection of data, media, and technology. You'll play a key role in managing and optimizing IMM's proprietary cross-channel last-touch attribution model while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our performance media measurement ecosystem.



This role is perfect for a data analyst who's excited to dig into SQL, automate workflows, troubleshoot data pipelines, manage pixel placements, and translate complex media performance into actionable reporting. You'll bring both analytical rigor and technical skill to ensure IMM and our clients have reliable, timely, and insightful data to make smarter marketing decisions.

This position is remote (hybrid available if within commuting distance to Boulder, CO) and open to candidates living in the following locations:



Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming (Locations where BHI is set up within Mountain and Central time zones).

A Day in the Life:





In this role, you'll own the performance media data pipeline from ingestion to insight and support clients end-to-end in their reporting and tracking infrastructure. Specifically, you will:



Maintain Daily Data Operations

+ Monitor and validate data pipelines in Adverity and AWS.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion or transformation errors.
+ Automate repetitive processes using SQL and optimize DB function.
+ Ensure reporting tables are accurate and complete.

Reporting & Forecasting

+ Build and maintain weekly/monthly reports for clients
+ Update Tableau & Adverity dashboards to reflect current campaign performance and business KPIs.
+ Deliver reporting that's accurate, clear, and tells a story stakeholders can act on
+ Provide ad hoc reporting in Microsoft Excel as needed
+ Support forecast modeling and contribute to scenario planning for clients

AdOps, Tracking & Campaign Support

+ Manage pixel placements across channels and troubleshoot discrepancies.
+ Partner with the media team to implement tracking, validate event flows, and ensure campaign tracking accuracy.
+ Set up new client reporting ecosystems soup to nuts--including defining naming conventions, establishing tracking logic, and configuring reporting pipelines.
+ Ensure all media activity is properly tagged and attributable in alignment with IMM's attribution model.

Data Ecosystem Management

+ Own IMM's ETL processes in Adverity and maintain stored procedures (SPROCs) in AWS Redshift.
+ Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and transformations.
+ Support the integration of new data sources into IMM's reporting stack.
+ Stay current on evolving privacy regulations and their impact on tracking, measurement, and attribution.







Requirements/ Here's what you need to get our attention:




3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a marketing, advertising, or media environment. Strong SQL knowledge, with proven experience writing complex queries. Hands-on experience managing ETL processes and troubleshooting data pipeline Familiarity with data warehousing, stored procedures, and relational data sets ideally in AWS Redshift. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with advanced functions. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.). Ad Operations and GTM experience, with a strong sense of data hierarchy; including naming conventions, taxonomy, canonicalization, and other tasks to effectively pipe data into reports and glean insights. Comfort with marketing and media platforms, including knowledge of attribution models and pixel-based tracking. Basic understanding of media inventory bidding and buying, and the markets those processes operate in. A problem-solving mindset--you don't just flag issues, you fix them. A strong sense of ownership and urgency when it comes to data accuracy and timeliness. Familiarity with event level data, ad servers, and 3rd party measurement platforms.



What will make us call you for sure:




Experience managing end-to-end client tracking setups, including naming conventions, tagging, and reporting logic. Proficiency with Adverity or a comparable ETL platform. Experience onboarding new clients into reporting ecosystems and managing ongoing reporting at scale. Exposure to incrementality testing, lift studies, or media mix modeling. Proficiency in GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including event setup and validation. Google Certification is highly preferred. Proven ability to implement custom JS in pixels and troubleshoot complex issues with triggers and data variables.



It Would be a Bonus if you Have:




Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Marketing Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics) or equivalent work experience. Hands-on use of Python or R for data cleaning, automation, or statistical analysis. Strong communication and storytelling skills-you can distill complex data into insights that influence decisions. A blend of technical ability and business acumen--you can both build the pipeline and explain the "so what" of the data.

Base Compensation: 75K-90K DOE
