is seeking

Per Diem Substitute Teachers

working in both our High School and Middle School buildings to join our team

immediately for the 2025/2026 School Year.

This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven school community in a flexible, classroom-based support role! Our substitute teachers provide coverage across Middle and High School academic and elective classes, supporting students with language-based learning disabilities. All classes are capped at 8 students, and sub work is prepared by the classroom teacher. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of age levels and subjects in a warm, structured, and supportive environment.Substitutes may be scheduled in advance or called in on short notice to cover unexpected absences. We are looking for flexible, proactive communicators who can step into a classroom setting and contribute to consistency and student success.Our students have complex learning needs and we are committed to providing them with the education they deserve! LPS is a school for kids with complex profiles whose primary area of need is a language-based learning disability. While we are not a therapeutic setting or a program for students with significant behavioral support needs, we do offer speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and counseling as part of our service delivery model.LPS is a great place to work!
