Overview:

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is seeking qualified and reliable Substitute Teachers on a per diem basis. Substitute Teachers will provide instruction and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher and be enthusiastic about making a positive impact in urban communities.

Key Responsibilities:

#

Instructional Delivery:

Deliver lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the absent classroom teacher Provide instruction and facilitate learning experiences in accordance with school policies and procedures
#

Classroom Management:

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment Implement classroom rules and expectations to maintain order and discipline
#

Adaptability:

Adapt teaching strategies and instructional materials to meet the needs of diverse learners Follow classroom procedures and routines established by the regular classroom teacher
#

Communication:

Communicate effectively with school administrators, staff, and students Provide feedback and report any concerns or issues to the appropriate school personnel
#

Flexibility:

Be available to work on short notice and accommodate varying assignments and grade levels Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing classroom environments and instructional needs
#

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (required). Previous experience working with children or youth preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow lesson plans and classroom routines. Clearances: FBI fingerprints, PA state background check, child abuse history clearance, and a physical examination
#
