PRN EMT-Ps who are IV Infusion Savvy.

Work closely with our sharp Lead IV infusion Specialist, EMT-P, NRP

All team members are vital to the practice, regardless of PT or FT standing.

The medical provider cannot offer the highest level of care to her practice members without the

assistance AND expertise of her exceptional EMT-P, NRP, team members.

Our astute lead IV Infusion Specialist EMT-P, NRP will assist the medical provider with your training.

He

will assure the medical provider that you are the right fit for the team and practice members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

III John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Obtain and document vital signs, and all other pertinent EMR chart information on scheduled established and new practice members, who will be seen for IV infusion therapy Monday-Friday.

IV infusions examples: ALA (alpha lipoic acid), amino acids, ascorbic acid (aka vitamin C), B complex, glutathione push, methylene blue, mistletoe, Myer's cocktail, NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), ozone and UV light (O3UV), polyMVA, procaine, therapeutic venipuncture, Venofer (iron), etc.

Monitor practice members during infusions and for respective time frames following infusions. Length of time is dependent on the nature of the integrative medical infusion. (30-120 minutes)

For continuity of care, document your infusion note clearly on each practice member the same day the IV infusions are performed.

Venipuncture for orthobiologic regenerative medicine therapies.

Assist the medical provider when she is performing fluoroscopic guided spine and intra-articular hip joint injections, as well as mistletoe injections into, for example cervical, axillary, and inguinal lymph nodes.

Assist the medical provider with administering light anesthesia (Versed) with practice members during fluoroscopic procedures.

Keep the office clean, especially all work areas (clinical, infusion, procedure, and recovery areas).

First impressions can make or break a practice member's return for care.

Solid IV placement record

Venipuncture for orthobiologic therapies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to the details.

Complete work tasks efficiently.

Consistent team player

Great time management skills- work ethic (Not professional to use cell phones for personal activities at your work stations nor around the office. That includes ALL types of headphones, ear buds, etc.)

Computer and keyboarding skills

Education:

Active EMP-T from an accredited institution

Active BLS certification

Active ACLS certification

Pluses:

Speaks Spanish

General Information:

Work Days:

PRN Monday through Thursday with

some Fridays after special approval by the medical provider. (Example practice members who work out of the state M-Th. Only in NC on F.)

730-4PM (minus noon to 1230PM for lunch)

National background check is performed BEFORE the interview process takes place.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
