Department Summary:

Boston Children's at Martha Eliot offers primary and preventive care for children, adolescents, and young adults, including well-child appointments and sick visits, as well as specialty services like behavioral health and optometry.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic). Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions. Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse. Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed. Working per diem- day/evening rotation, Thursday evenings and weekend rotation to the main campus primary care clinic. Holiday coverage.

Minimum qualifications:

Education:

HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

1 year direct patient care experience required. Spanish speaking preferred. Pedi experience preferred.
