Schedule:

Per Diem On Weekdays As Needed - split shifts (after school pick ups and/or evening drop offs)

Hours:

Approximately 1:30pm to 4:00pm and/or approximately 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Pay Range:

$18 per hour

to safely transport clients to and from our afterschool program.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Behavioral Health Driver plays a vital role in ensuring clients arrive safely and on time for their scheduled services. This position requires professionalism, patience, and a commitment to client dignity and confidentiality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Safely transport clients between their homes, program sites, and appointments in company vehicles Maintain accurate trip logs, including pick-up/drop-off times and passenger counts Assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed, ensuring safety and comfort Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance needs promptly Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and HIPAA confidentiality standards Communicate professionally with clients, families, and staff Remain flexible to accommodate schedule changes or urgent transportation needs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Flexibility to the needs of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behaviors Ability to communicate and interact respectfully with individuals and families Strong punctuality, reliability, and interpersonal skills Prior experience in transportation, healthcare, or behavioral health preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent
