The Opportunity
The purpose of the Hope Center Ministries
People Operations Coordinator
is to help ensure the smooth and efficient coordination of HCM's people processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and compliance in support of our Christ-centered mission. This role partners with leaders at all levels to help build a healthy, value-driven culture where staff can grow, serve, and fulfill the ministry's calling with excellence and integrity.
Key Areas of Ministry & Responsibility
Recruitment:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Onboarding:
Help new hires complete necessary tasks and guide them through the onboarding process and orientation.
Record maintenance:
Create and maintain employee records, including personnel files and benefits information in the HRIS.
Employee support:
Act as a first point of contact for employees with questions about HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Administrative tasks:
Manage HR-related paperwork, organize training activities, and perform other clerical tasks as needed.
Compliance:
Help ensure the company complies with labor laws and other relevant regulations. Skills and qualifications.
Training:
Coordinate the HCM Internship Program

Qualifications & Expectations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in administrative writing and research
Discretion and the ability to maintain confidential information
Attention to detail
Experience with human resources software is a plus
An associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field can be beneficial
