Allwel is looking for Peer Support Specialist to share their lived experience and empower others in rehabilitation and recovery. Peer Support Specialists provide some of the following services:




Non-clinical crisis support, especially after periods of hospitalization or incarceration Educating program participants about various modes of recovery Accompanying clients to medical appointments Raising awareness of existing social and other support services Linking participants to formal recovery supports Assisting with applying for benefits



Location(s) where services are provided:





All 5 boroughs of New York City.
