What you'll do
Provide crisis intervention services to clients, assessing their needs and developing effective action plans.
Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to foster positive change and encourage personal growth.
Deliver compassionate mental health counseling and addiction counseling tailored to individual circumstances.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients' behavioral health needs.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and maintain accurate records.
Mentor clients through their recovery journey, offering guidance and resources for continued progress.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources and support services.
Basic qualifications
Personal lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and recovery
Completion of a state-approved Peer Support Specialist Certification
High level of empathy and ability to connect with others
Preferred qualifications
Experience in crisis management or crisis intervention roles.
Background in social work or related fields.
Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques.
Knowledge of EHR systems for effective documentation and record-keeping.
