Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Monday, Saturday & Sunday (2:30-10:30p) & 1st shift, Thursday & Friday (8-4p)
Position Summary:
Will deliver comprehensive outreach and engagement services, including education, advocacy, coaching and mentorship. The Peer is responsible for including but not limited to; providing supervision and support to the clients, as well as for facility security, supervision of client activities, and modeling and reinforcing pro-social interactions within the program and community. Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Working within Adult Services, the Peer Support works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED (successful completion or completion within 2 months of hire)
Valid Connecticut driver's license
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
