Job Description

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join us. We are seeking someone with a professional, friendly approach and strong work ethic. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of MA experience will be considered, prefer at least 1 year experience in pediatrics.

Responsibilities:
Rooming and attending to patient needs maintaining positive and reassuring interactions with patients.

Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of OSHA safety and HIPAA/patient confidentiality.

Taking and recording vitals, administering immunizations, monitoring and recording vaccine inventory, as well as conducting patient referrals and pre-authorizations.

Answer multi-line phones and advice line, triage calls, schedule appointments and handle referrals.

This position will also be responsible for working in the front desk to assist as required.

General office upkeep is expected; including monitoring, stocking and maintenance of medical and office supplies and equipment. This is an opportunity to be part of a professional Pediatrics team that is committed to providing excellent patient care.

The following qualifications are required for this position:

High School Diploma

Certificate of graduation from Medical Assisting School

1 year experience preferably in Pediatrics

Experience with EMR and WebIZ

Current CPR/AED certification

Front office experience preferred
