Job Description
The hourly range for this role is starting at $15.74 Pea Sampler- Del Monte Foods: Toppenish #122 Time Frame: Month of June, and part of July. : Using a company vehicle, you will drive to Pea fields in the Paterson area. Walk fields and collect samples. Once the samples are collected, return to the Toppenish cannery to run maturity test and record data. Responsibilities:
- Collecting reprehensive samples of pea fields.
- Identifying a noxious weeds in fields.
- Identifying any allergens in pea fields.
- Identifying any foreign material (rocks, glass, etc.) in fields.
- Run sampling equipment.
- Record data accurately.
- Report data to supervisor.
- Collect, and run can samples on Pea plots, and trials.
- Assist Field supervisor as needed with pea fields, plots, and trials.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Valid driver\'s license and good driving record.
- Ability to walk through thick foliage.
- Ability to report daily to work early (5:00am to 7am).
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to work weekends.
