Responsibilities

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Highly acute 24-beds Surgical/Medical Cardiac ICU/Cardiac Recovery
• Specializing in advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, STEMI, transplant, VAD\xe2\x80\x99s, thoracic, vascular, ECMO patient populations
• Supported by Registered Nurses, resource, and multidisciplinary teams

Our Team

We have an amazing team of skilled nurses and patient care technicians that work with a multi-disciplinary team and innovative physicians. We work closely as a team to support our patients and each other.

Patients we serve:

• Medical Patients: STEMI, Cardiac Arrest, and Advanced Heart Failure
• Surgical Patients: Cardiac: Transplant, VAD, CABG, and Valve Repair/Replacement
• Thoracic: Pneumonectomy, Lobectomy, Esophagectomy
• Vascular: AAA repair, CEA, complex vascular repair
• Transplant: Heart, Kidney, and Pancreas

We are hiring for Day shift - 7:00AM - 7:30PM, Monday-Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Full-time (3) 12-hour shifts a week; scheduled every third weekend, and holidays \xe2\x80\x93 minimum of two per year. Shifts are 12 hours.
