As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in a home setting. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse non-medical environments.

Duties

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals in need of care
- Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to healthcare professionals
- Help patients with mobility and transportation within the community
- Support patients during medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Skills

- Experience or knowledge in caring for the elderly population
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide quality care with dignity and respect
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well under supervision
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks that require standing or lifting
