Overview:
Part of the Finance team, you are the driving force behind keeping the business running smoothly. You play a crucial role in balancing the financial health of our organization with strategic decision-making and long-term planning. From managing expenses to budgeting and forecasting, you help ensure financial targets and objectives are met. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
Responsibilities:
The Payroll Specialist is a key member of the financial shared services team responsible for the processing and management of the US Salaried & Japan In patriates semi-monthly payroll, serving as back up for Canadian payroll. The successful candidate will interact with a variety of team members from human resources, IT, manufacturing and distribution, finance and other areas and; and act as a backup to the Leader - Payroll, Lixil Americas when needed. The primary responsibilities are to ensure all team members are paid on time and accurately, and that the payrolls comply with all company policies and regulatory matters in this area. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in developing and driving process improvement
Qualifications:
Process semi-monthly payrolls for the US and serve as the backup for Canada.
Assist Payroll Leader in managing the timekeeping system (core system and time clocks) to ensure accuracy and completeness for all. Act as key contact for all systems issues and updates; keeping internal IT and Payroll Leader informed.
Assist Payroll Leader in reconciling month, quarter, year -end activities and regulatory reporting.
Work closely with HR and provide guidance on the transition of data for payroll processing cycles.
Manage and update payroll specific data such as direct deposits, pay cards, state and local taxes for US Salaried and Japan
This position requires monthly travel to our facility in Piscataway, NJ.
Hiring Range:
The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $72,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually.
(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
