Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage payroll processing, ensure accurate financial and employee data entry, and support benefits administration. Your expertise will help us maintain seamless payroll operations while upholding compliance with financial and HR standards.

Responsibilities



Process payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll management software Paycom Maintain employee records, including hours worked and deductions, and benefits information. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations. Address employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepencies and issues. Support benefits administration tasks including enrollment and updates Assist with accounts payable and receivable related to payroll expenses

Requirements



Proven experience with payroll management systems such as Paycom Strong understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation Familiarity with financial concepts like tax regulations, benefits administration, and governmental accounting standards Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing) Knowledge of human resources processes related to payroll and benefits administration Analytical skills for account reconciliation and financial analysis Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
