Position Summary
The
Payor Enrollment Specialist
is part of a team responsible for drafting, submitting, and tracking credentialing applications for the health plans and tracking provider licensure and reimbursements for professional fees within given timelines. This person will collaborate with providers, clinical staff, group practice administrators/managers, hospital credentialing staff, and revenue cycle/billing department staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of information. The Payor Enrollment Specialist is a multi-tasking position requiring strong attention to detail and good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education
High school diploma,required* Associate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or other related field,preferred.*
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive clerical experience, preferably in the medical field is required* Knowledge of Payor Enrollment process is strongly desired*
Certifications
CPCS: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist by NAMSS is preferred*
