SUMMARY
Provide support within the Payment Services Division for First Interstate Bank\xe2\x80\x99s credit card products. This team supports consumer and business customers and branch staff by providing telephone support; this support may also include account maintenance functions, and customer integration services. Must have proven team-oriented skills that demonstrate a commitment to the success of First Interstate Bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.
  • Handle a high volume of customer service calls.
  • Ensure first call resolution through problem solving and effective call handling.
  • Act as a resource for branch personnel and Business Banking Officers. Quickly respond to and resolve their various questions, inquiries, and issues.
  • Perform necessary set-up and maintenance on consumer and business credit card accounts Support the development and implementation of new products.
  • Maintain up to-date knowledge on evolving policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the building of a strong team environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a financial institution preferred.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Good customer service skills, requiring a knowledge of basic phone etiquette. Strong computer skills to include working knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel. Must have strong aptitude in accounting and possess project management skills. Must have good organization and communication skills and be a self- starter. Enjoy working in a team environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and manuals. Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, employees and customers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to work with moderate mathematical concepts. Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
